I think you are making a wise choice. My kids are older and they don't even think twice about sitting in it. Most of my son's friends are either in a booster or not in anything and he is perfectly fine with having to sit in his Regent because it's so comfy! He knows that we are doing our best so that he is always as safe as possible. I think once you are able to turn her around she will be happy as can be in her Princess chair! I checked the seat out at Babies R Us(who wanted 269.99) to see how she "fit in it" and Boy - does she ever look teeny tiny in that thing!! BUT I'm really excited about our new purchase! I Know this seat will last her. We should get it in two days - she is only 20 lbs 12 oz right now, so we've got to put on a little weight first - But I think this will really help out in the car.
