Here are some posts from this past week that I wanted to point out to you.

I read this. Then I laughed so hard I fell down dead. Go do the same. Well maybe not the last part.

Jay is back. It’s about fucking time.

Here’s the most depressing article on a “good marriage” that I have ever read. Holy crap, can’t we aim a little higher?

Who knew the USPS had this kind of power?

I’m still laughing. Just read it — especially if you’ve been ‘doubly blessed.’ Too goddamned funny.

Kathryn has great friends.

Beer bottle and panties. Now that’s a still life.

(UPDATE: I’m not pregnant, Wired for Noise is. Sheesh, people, thanks for the emails, but really 3 crazies is enough for me!)

One of our own has made it to the big time. Congratulations!

Hey Paul, don’t burn out Please. It seems like you have a really good heart.

Measles is coming back. I’ll just keep my thoughts about those who don’t vaccinate to myself.

I wish I knew the backstory on the ending of this great post.

She’s out!

Fingers crossed.

Karrie asks a great question.

Call me a product-shilling whore, but this is really funny.

And yes, I’ve been fussing around with ‘Go Read It Today’ for about a year. I still can’t quite figure out how to integrate it properly into this blog, but for now at least, here’s another post. If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been doing it in my sidebar for a while now, but it doesn’t go out in my feed. I’m still working out the right balance for it all… Let me know if you have any suggestions :)

UPDATE: OK, now I’ve taken the ‘Go Read It Today’ links out of the sidebar. I’ll go back to posting them periodically. Let’s see how that works.

catOMGWTFBBQ. I am so glad this had a happy ending.

Good lord, you people are BRILLIANT! Now that’s the way to be BPA-free and economical. Wow! (Combine this perfect baby hack with my mother-in-law’s Cream Cheese Coffeecake recipe and you’ll be all set :)

Hey, does anyone know how Twitter is going to make any money? I love using it, but I’m concerned that they’ll fade away because as far as I can tell, they don’t have income other than VCs. How does that work? I wish they’d come out with a Pro version that has lots of cool features. I’d pay for it just in the hope that it would help them stay afloat!

Interesting story on Momlogic. They sound like real asshats. [Update: Why do I keep linking to posts which subsequently get taken down? It's a talent. In any case, it looks like a Cease and Desist letter is the reason the post was removed. Interestinger.]

And really, it’s a sickness how much I love i can has cheez burger. Those damned cats make me laugh EVERY DAY. They win my vote for Best Thing of All Things on the Internet. Srsly.

What happened to the Crazy Hip Blog Mamas? Why did they pack up their web site and go home? (Thanks Mel for the heads-up.) Any of you who were showing their BizRate/Shopzilla ad please note that it ended at the end of March ’08 and you can take it down now.

Amen, ‘boundaries’ is precisely right. I’ll go out on a limb here and say that breastfeeding an 8 year old is just plain wrong. Yes, I am judging people who do it. I have opinions. The end.

Why Dooce is still one of my favorite bloggers. Thank you, finally someone weighs in on the stupid gas tax holiday and actually makes sense. Whoa, this husband is living on the edge.

OMG, this is SO much worse than a bad haircut. Gross! Totally not wrong. Recently I was quoted in the New Jersey Star Ledger and on MSNBC. My kind of news. Jill Asher rocks her TV interview.

I’m really not looking forward to this in my future. Introducing a sweet baby boy who I hope is not too fussy for his mama.
