DVD "extras"? Give me a break.

I’ve never ever ever watched a DVD ‘deleted scene’ which was wrongly cut out of the move — why do they include this crap??

If it’s a movie I really like, I enjoy the deleted scenes and blooper reels. It’s like, I want more and it’s all I have available. But I get it–sometimes there’s no point.

I love bloopers & deleted scenes! They're good for a laugh & make you appreciate the editing process.

Actually the deleted scenes from the first season or two of The Office are funny.

I always watch deleted scenes. It's fun to see the various directions that the writers thought they might go. It's fun to imagine how things might have turned out if they had used some of those scenes.

The 'extras' on the 40 yr old virgin movie were funnier than the movie itself.

I'm with ya. I've never watched. Nothing pisses me off more than a movie with a "different ending" in the deleted scenes section – when the only thing different is a couple of shots.

Ha – I wonder the same thing! I think it's supposed to make you think you get real 'value for money'. As far as I am concerned, if it wasn't good enaugh to make the original view, it's wasted!

I believe that all the best scenes are already included in the movie/series so all the deleted scenes and goofing off behind the scenes does not seem very attractive or important to me.

    Love outtakes — otherwise? crap.

I LOVE outtakes and deleted scenes. I also like interviews with cast, crew, directors, writers — gives me more of a feel for the process itself. Now, I have to admit, I've never watched these on kids' DVDs. So if you were talking about the deleted scenes from, say, Finding Nemo, then I agree with you.

But scenes from programs/movies for adults — usually love that stuff.

they include it because there’s people out there who make a hobby out of knowing about it.

I get annoyed if a DVD doesn’t include deleted scenes.
