Product recalls: Pet food, and more pet food.

Medical news: More data supports not giving cold and cough meds to kids under 2. Interesting new breast cancer prognosis test.

I’m breaking with tradition for this first link and sending you over to an entire blog, not one specific post. There’s a blog out there that has the best tag line ever, and it makes me laugh every time I read it. “My life is so perfect, I crap sunshine and kittens.” Snort.

I hope she writes an update soon. In the mean time, send good thoughts.

Looking for a roomate for BlogHer? (Personally, I can’t decide if I would rather save money and have extra-bonding time with a roomie or get a room of my own for THREE nights of uninterrupted sleep…)

Karaoke going where it has never gone before.

I hope this works out for you QoS. Most couples couldn’t pull it off and stay together — good luck!

Ew.

I hope you’re holding it together, Kristen.

Here’s another person who doesn’t need the linky-love, but dammit this is just too funny!!

And can I just say how glad I am that April 1st is over? Reading blogs on that day required way too much concentration. Between being on the lookout for spoof posts as well as those sneaky blog-exchangers wore me out. Not fair to have those on the same day…

You know, if it weren’t for wanting to share my favorites, I could give up Google reader and just come here! Thanks so much for the great links!!

What is up with all the pet food lately! I picked a BAD time to get a cat.

I never spend on myself, but I am going all out for a private room–and probably some spa treatmets and other fun stuff too–in Chicago.

I’m with you as far as being undecided on whether to splurge or have a roommate for Blogher. So far I’m thinking splurge, and I even went for an extra night at the W. But maybe my budget will rise up and talk some sense into me.
