Henry

You have a sweet heart.

And an amazing brain. You’re a wonderful artist.

And a generous big brother.

You’re a take-charge kind of kid. And a real nutjob.

If you had your way, you’d be drawing and building and constructing and designing and planning 24 hours a day. You believe (as do I) that sleep is an irritating waste of time.

You have truly limitless energy.

Before you I was Erika. Now I’m also Mom.

Thanks honey bunny.

Great post, Erica. I never think to sit down and put together a “why I love my kids” piece, great idea. And just when I am exhausted from the week, drinking a glass of wine, and counting down the minutes until bedtime, you remind me that my kids are truly an important part of my life. Really :-)

Gudrun, I would *love* to know everyone! Well, most everyone. Some of them are just asshats, but everyone else I’d love to meet.

And Kalyn rocks and is even nicer in person if you ever get the chance.
