How to get to BlogHer '08 on a BlogHership. Plus, as a bonus, how to pimp your business. Multi-tasking!

Do you want to come to BlogHer this summer in San Francisco but you’re not sure how you can swing it financially? Check out the information on BlogHerships and apply to get free registration in exchange for volunteering at the conference. It is a fair amount of work, but free is free. And if it makes the difference between you getting to go and not, then it could be worth it.

And speaking of money, if you have your own business and haven’t listed it in my Directory of Businesses Run by Humans and not Corporate Machines (note to self: get a shorter name), then right now… yes right now… tiny kittens are weeping for your soul. Get listed, get exposure, get it for free :)

And I have yet to reject a site, so if you’ve already submitted your site but you don’t see it listed, let me know! At the very beginning the submission form went fubar, but everything appears hunky dory now. Do it!

What a great idea, PJM! I love that you've got a business directory. If only I had a business…

I could start one. Maybe I'll become a Mango Distributor. (Yeah, that'll fly in Wisconsin!) ;)

I applied for a BlogHerShip to be a volunteer. I think it would be fun to work registration or pass out goodie bags. I would get to see everybody that way!

So if I send you a cardboard cutout of me, will you take 'me' to Blogher???

I so want to go, but being halfway across the world, it aint gunna happen. And apparently my lazy hoard will starve if I leave them over a single meal period.

Yay! Just found my new business listed in your directory! That was so exciting and just made my day! Just what this mama needed after a day of snow and ice and boys home from school…again.

    Thanks!

Blogherships are such an awesome idea! I can't make it there this year but perhaps next year I'll volunteer anyway just to meet all the new faces!

    A sponsorship?

Even fro foreigners such as myself?

I may look into it, if I overcome how shy I am…
