I have a plagiarism question for the great legal and ethical minds of our time. And you.

I’m not going to link to her, but please do me a favor and go to babytalkers.blogspot.com and then tell me: is it weird that someone is plagiarizing my diaper ad?

At first I was happy that she wasn’t pretending that she also had 3 kids, but then I noticed she’d copied my Amazon astore as well — you can click to see them up-close.

I mean, really, can’t she just be like the rest of the internet and steal my posts? If she’s going to try to be an original and creative thinker, she should consider using her skills for good and not evil. Discuss.

    Okay, that’s just freaking WEIRD!

I don’t think that is a real site… nobody home over there, you know?!

Um…wow. Now, I popped over to the ‘new’ dot-com site, in case maybe her blogspot site was hijacked somehow. Nope, all the same stuff.

Jane, if it were me, I’d email Ms. Csara and ask what gives. Perhaps, perhaps, she’s woefully ignorant of appropriate netiquette. If so, you can give her the benefit of the doubt. But if not, I’d ask her to come up with some original verbiage.

Ugh, how frustrating. Although there is that little part of me that says, “What a complement,” the rest of me-the other 95%-would want to get all up in her business.

Wow, that really is weird. And I’m just going to echo what Peg said – maybe a nicely worded e-mail giving her the B of the D, and then figuring out what’s going on. Who knows, maybe she thought that all ads should be worded that way?

I know, probably not, but it’s a nice thought.

Ooh, that is just creepy. And wrong, wrong, wrong. March over there and give her the royal smackdown!

Well, that is just beyond rude. Do you think it’s a hijack site?

It really IS tragic that so much of the web is filled with people without an original thought inside their skulls.

The ones I love are those “blogging for a living” who do nothing but steal lame news about “how to make money online” from the other sites on the same topic…change a few words and “republish” it on their “my online journey to a million bucks” site/blog, and pretend anyone will care.

    (sigh)

I guess people will steal anything. Make some fake ads-see if she’ll steal those as well.
