How hilarious is it that when asked to draw a picture of his house, Mike draws a floorplan?
The answer is, of course, it is very freaking hilarious. Well. To me at least.

What a genius.
That is totally funny, dude.
Sweet! That’s the sign of a great thinker! Totally outside the box.
I get the kitchen and bedroom, but what is the room to the top-right? It looks like he drew a rocket at the door way.
I love, LOVE! childrens’ drawings! This is definitely a keeper.
Those are arrows showing you which way to go, natch :)
My oldest is in therapy. He had to draw a picture and then tell the therapist about it. He hands her a picture of a house. She says, “So, is this your house?” He says, “No, of course not… Can’t you see the 60’s architecture?”
My husband and I about fell over laughing. We have no idea where this came from, except that my husband draws for a living.
You better start looking for a good architectural school!! :)
Freakin’ hysterical.
Looks like you have a budding architect!
made me snort.
Maybe you have an architect on your hands!
An architect in the making! That was brilliant!
That’s brilliant!
That is genius! He has deffo thought ahead.
I remember those little stickers we used to get on stuff, those were the days :D
Oh, gosh, that reminds me of when my daughter was 4. She said, “I’m going to draw a map of the way you go to work” (which was also her day care, so she rode with me). She did it. Accurately enough that I recognized every landmark and street. She and your son would be kindred spirits — if she were still 4. She’s 20 now. :)
An interior designer or construction manager is also a distinct possibility. That’s a pretty clever kid you got there.
That is so great. My kid is obsessed with drawing our house, but never a floorplan, too cool.
That is funny! When my oldest was in Preschool they had them paint kites and then asked them if you were a kite where would you fly so they could write it down. My daughter without missing a beat looked at the teacher like she was crazy and said “To an airport.” :| Hehe. Kids.
i’m buying him some graph paper for christmas — it was my favorite for floor plans!
Hey, we have to say this is brilliant! He’s got the makings of a designer in him.
