My OCD kicks in on Fridays when I scan everything in Amazon’s Friday Sale. This stockpot jumped out at me, and I just ordered one. Do you make soup? Boil water? Calphalon Commercial Hard Anodized 12-Quart Stockpot with Lid is regularly $168, but today only it is $39.99 with free shipping. Dude! [UPDATE: this deal appears to still be valid — yay!]

my good heavens! That’s a great deal. I just went over and put it in my shopping cart and was about to pay for it and then I realized I actually already own a stockpot.
They’ve also been having a really good Staub sale over at Amazon, and as a result I’m the new owner of some very nice heavy-duty braisers –one big 5 quart one and one very cute 2 quart one. Staub’s like LeCreuset — just as good quality (maybe better), and also made in France, but at least at Amazon for a brief window, about 1/3 the price.
