Chip’s cataract surgery is this Wednesday morning and it is starting to feel more real to me. I know that in the grand scheme of things it is no big deal, but still it is freaking me out. If you notice more and more frenetic posts from me between now and then, you’ll know why!

Thanks Jessica. I am feeling like I have had way too much coffee and it is only Monday!

The same thing is happening to me because my 8 year-old is getting his tonsils out January 2. I know it’s “just” his tonsils but I’m already having bad dreams about it. Good luck, and I’m sure everything will be fine for both our guys!

My daughter just had tubes put in her ears in July and the worse part was the “waiting.” I’m sure you will be relieved to have his surgery in the past. Good luck!

You bet, Jamie! Come Thursday I’ll be much more relaxed. Of course, I’m pretty sure that Chip is going to have some sort of metal eye covering thing GLUED over his eye by then, so maybe not! This whole thing is really going to piss him off!

Brute Force had tubes in his ears when he was a year old. We had to wait for maybe a whole total of 8 minutes for the procedure to be performed, but it was the longest 8 minutes of my life. So I don’t blame you one bit for being freaked out, and I’m thinking of you guys.
