Let's all play Name That Disorder!

September 27, 2007

in From PlainJaneMom.com

Clearly I have some sort of mental illness that is causing me to sit at my desk today with these two songs on a constant loop.

Personally, I believe the disorder should be named “Holy Funk, I have a lot of work to do.” What’choo got?

Update: I see from the comments that I was unclear :) The videos are for the benefit of you guys so you can hear the tunes — I’m not watching them on youtube myself. These are just the 2 songs I have on a constant loop in my headphones while working. Something about the persistent beats keeps me going!

That’s okay all I’ve been doing today is watching videos on Yahoo Launchcast and reading confessions at http://www.experienceproject.com so don’t worry none of us really want to do any work today.

I almost called in sick because Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue is in town for a book signing and damn it I wanted to meet him. So I boycotted today NO WORK JUST SURFING THE WEB, thank god they don’t check where we go.

Great video of JT don’t know the first one.

Nothing wrong with getting your groove on. You’re bringing sexy back and I’m groovin right along. In fact I have an over compelling urge to get up and do a little jig right here at my cubicle.

I love JT. I would play that all day too. Work or no work. In fact my three year old hears this song and says “Mommy – you LIKE this song!!!!”

I’ve had Sheryl Crow’s “Every Day is a Winding Road” playing on a loop in my brain for the past five months despite my not having heard than song in the last decade.

(Judging by the tags, the video I’m not seeing is Sexyback? Stupid missing plug-ins.)

I’d love to see JT live! That video is awesome. That is my favorite mama jam in the car tune.

Yep, when you have a lot of sh*t on your plate, it’s hard to really “work.” ;)

I mean, not that I could relate to that disorder or anything.

I love listening to music while I’m working, but I get too distracted! So I have to work in complete silence… talk about boring!

Who doesn’t love a little JT? The first some was great too! In my “professional” opinion, I see no disorder here :)

I must have the same mental disorder because I’m obsessed with JT. It’s hard to be in a bad mood with his songs playing in the background.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I’ve been singing the Purple Plane song from Little Einsteins. Now maybe I’ll finally have it out of my head and I can sing a little Justin instead.
