Hey folks, I’ve got a few Blogads invitations to share. Blogads is a decent way to earn a small income from your blogging, but the only way to sign up is by being sponsored by a current member. Jay was cool enough to get me started with it a few months ago, and now I’m paying that forward.
Here’s what they have to say about the blogs that Blogads will work best on:
What is the minimum daily user number a blog should have before they can consider blogads?
Blogs without a laser-sharp focus on one topic or community AND an audience of 1000 readers a day usually do not attract advertisers. But some blogs with a sharp focus AND an audience of thousands a day do NOT get advertisers. One test: have more than a handful of companies expressed an interest in advertising on your blog?
And here’s some info that I found on my ‘sponsor blogger’ page:

I am so nowhere-near-ready for real advertisers. People are getting 1000 hits a day???? Uh….crazy. Me and my 15 readers are doing just fine thankyouverymuch.

Geez, I was getting all excited because I hit 75 the other day…I guess that’s bubkas in comparison. ;)
I don’t even know how I *could* advertise my site, since it’s only my ramblings about the long wait of adoption.
I do receive 1000+ hits a day, some days a little lower, some a lot higher, it just depends on the google and Technorati searches coming in. I’m interested and even added a section on my sidebar asking people to hook me up with no response. Email me if you wish.

I’d love an invite if you’ve got any left. I’ve been trying to get one forever to eventually try and get some blogads among the Soccer Blogs. None have been able to get invites!
