Check out MotherPie — she has some great words of wisdom on blogging about your kids when they get older. It is an interesting question. Of course, if I’m still stuck in front of my computer in 10 years just LOBOTOMIZE ME PLEASE!

Yep. Although my 12-year-old is currently at the “hero-worship” part of the program, where she thinks my having a blog is like the KEWLEST THING EVAR!!1!!11!, and asks me regularly if I’m going to blog what she just said.
I choose to severely limit how much, if anything, I put on the blog about the girls. I figure, better blog very little about my kids and have it be too little, than blog a lot and have it end up being too much.

Melanie — erring on the side of caution is probably a good thing. Must be nice to have your almost-teen still think you’re cool, though!
