Daycare & preschool are closed today and yesterday. Yesterday was Mr. Plain’s turn to stay home with the monkeys, and today it’s mine. I have a couple of questions.
- How do kids who really only eat about 1.2 meals a day have so much energy?
- With an (allegedly) finite amount of energy, why would they choose use it against each other? Don’t they know that if they worked together against me they would reign victorious? All they’d need to keep me around for would be driving and opening yogurt tubes.
- I couldn’t let them outside earlier today because there was someone wielding a pick-axe in the back yard. All they did was beg and beg to go out there. The pick-axer is done now and all they want to do is come inside and play with their Leapsters. WHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYY?
- Whose brilliant idea was “in-service days” at schools? What a scam. You know all the teachers are just sitting around eating doughnuts and gossiping about how this year’s parents are even crazier than last year’s.
I had all these great plans for today. I was going to get so much done! Hmmm. It is after 4pm and I’ve pretty much done nothing. I’d better see if I can find my list somewhere…
