Lately I’ve been helping at kindergarten recess and let me tell you, that’s one energetic pack of 88 kids. It is pretty fun but afterwards I go home and relish the absolute quiet. How in the world do teachers do this all day long?

After school today we biked over to Charlie’s glasses shop to see about getting his (new!) glasses repaired. Since everyone was well behaved we stopped for a snack as well.
They wanted to sit in the sun, and there were three of them, three spaces, it all seemed very logical at the time.

The kids have had breakfast and are playing Wii, and I’m in bed procrastinating getting up. This week was a long one full of new schedules and crap.
I think the dogs and I are going to stay in bed for a few more minutes :)

I went to a little open house this morning at Charlie’s kindergarten and what did I see as I was wandering around? A sweet palm tree on the wall with all the smiling faces of the kids in the class. Everyone but Charlie was in a normal pose. I don’t know why this picture came as such a surprise to me, but I almost fell off my bike on the way home because I was laughing so hard.
To reiterate: yes, he’s enjoying school.

And yes, he really is all that.
