Chip is probably our last kid. He’s definitely the last one I’ll be pregnant with at least.
So when he looses the cute baby and toddler mannerisms it makes me extra sad. For example, he has stopped calling his favorite teacher ‘nanny!!’ and calls him by a pretty well pronounced version of his name.
Train is no longer ‘HAIN!!’ Airplaine is no longer “AAHAIN!!’
His legs are getting longer. He can play chase with his brothers without falling down too much. His number one goal every single day is to learn how to do what his big brothers do.
He doesn’t want anything that’s “for babies” — he had a Big Wheel bike at 18 months even though he can’t touch the pedals. But of course now he can go almost as fast as Mike and Robbie just by pushing with his feet like it’s a Flintstone car.
All these things are great because they mean he is developing normally. But they suck for me! I want to savor the essense of this last baby, and he’s just growing so fast.
