I know whatcha mean! I'd almost rather go to the dentist than shoe-shopping with the boyz. However, this year, I smartened up and have done it ONE AT A TIME. Eldest got new Nikes from Marshalls, and Middle got Red Sox velcro Reeboks from Olympia Sports, where they were having a buy one, get one 1/2 off, so my Hubby CONVENIENTLY got to buy himself a pair.

Baby still gets the decent hand-me-downs and is none the wiser!

Oh man, we took ours to the shoe store yesterday. Didn't buy a single pair, but I needed a stiff drink. I think it's time to bring back wrapping straw around their feet with leather. Cheaper and easier to deal with. LOL

Oh no way I would order their shoes online. I hate shipping things and I never know everyone's sizes.

We hit the one sports super store and they all have to find one pair they like from the available selection.

Oh yeah, I'm tough that way. And if they behave, they can get a snack at the register.

Oh yeah, I bribe my kids with snacks.

Ugh. Shoe shopping with kids is the worst. Sean insists that he can only swear sketcher z straps. He feet grow so fast I feel like I am constantly buying shoes.

Yeah, but can you imagine the shipping fees on horseshoes?!

I hate taking my kids into any store, for any item! It's a necessary evil though.

My husband's (he as the oldest of 3 boys, sound familiar?) mother informed me of these shoe issues. My oldest is in 7th grade this year and she said that was the year with all 3 boys that she bought new shoes like every 6 weeks.

I'd like to check into that hoof option now, tyvm. Or I may just start buying them in every progressive size on Ebay right now.

BOYS!!

My 6-year old daughter, though, has a zillion pairs of shoes because she is already a shoe whore. I'm not sure what's gonna be worse.

Oy.
