You're kidding me, right?

This is my daily school pickup schedule for the boys.

At least dropoff is easier because the start time for school A is the same for everybody.

I’m clearly just going to have to get all zen about it and just get used to driving around every afternoon for the rest of my life.

Oh, man, how I feel your pain. Really Rosie starts high school this year, and so the last four years of being able to drop her off at the same school as her sister are over. Which sucks, because I’m pretty sure their schools, some thirty blocks away from one another, start and end at exACTly the same time.

We are going through a similar thing in the afternoon. The girl’s drop-off times are just 12 minutes apart at different schools. I better drive fast if they aren’t taking the bus.

Yup, get used to it. After yeard of the routine and more recently learning my 5th grader needs to be at school fo band at 7:15 two mornings a week, it dawned on my that homeschool might actually be a lot less hassle. Good luck!

It’s the way of the mom, I’m afraid. I sometimes think I spend more time in the car than a UPS driver. Luckily I have connected with a few parents who can jump in the carpool bandwagon..

It was owing to a schedule just such as yours that I sold one house and bought a hovel within spitting (and walking) distance of an excellent public elementary school.

Two words for you: Audio. Books.

    Good luck.

I know! Until Adam feels good about staying for lunch I gotta get him home, feed him, drop him off, and then pick up Caity from pre school..kill hour and a half and then go pick up Adam.

walking or driving..this is going to be nuts
