If this were an accurate blog post about the state of my life…

…all you would hear is a great hissing sound followed by a colossal bang. The sound of my head exploding.

Instead, I will leave you with a photo I took before I had kids.

Doesn’t that look calm and lovely? That’s how they sucker you in.

I’m sorry about the head explosion. I hope you have some 409 handy.

My head explodes less on vodka.

Just kidding! Sort of. That’s what Saturday nights are for. ;)

All the sweet baby merchandise does, indeed, sucker one in.

LOL… I hope you pull are able to put the pieces of your head back together. Don’t we all have pictures like that? Frankly, I like the ones of me in a bikini when I thought I was ‘fat’. I didn’t know the meaning of fat until I grew three (now four) babies in this sagging body of mine. Fat. Hah! I wish I could go back in time and slap myself.

Ah the clean nursery. No poop! No puke! No tears embedded into the carpet yet.

I took pics of the nursery pre-baby, too. There’s no point taking pics now…it looks the same, everything is just in a different place (on the floor!).

Ohhhhh, yeah.

Well, I’d give you a hug if you were handy; I feel your pain on that one, for sure. We all do.

They suck you in and then just as you are about to kill them they do something cute and funny and it starts all over again!
