First, one piece of background before I tell you this story about Robbie. And here I’ll quote Mike:
Robbie has a LOT of pee in his body!
Robbie is nothing if not a good story teller. Ask him a question, any question, and you are in for the long haul. His tales involve many details and lots of action. But plot. Hmmm. Plot. It is a little scattered. Much as you would expect from a 4 year old, and very hilarious (to me) to hear.
Today when I dropped Robbie off at school I saw something the teachers had posted in his classroom. OK, it was dated February 5, so I’m pretty slack and unobservant, but still…
It was titled “Safety First” and had quotes from kids in the class talking about crossing the street. Here’s Robbie’s take on this very important issue of our time.
You have to make sure you don’t get squished by cars. So, when you’re crossing the street, you have to hold… oh yeah. Remember to use the bathroom, because there’s no bathroom when you’re walking.
Words to live by. I guess. Well, maybe only if you’re Robbie.
