Mike got a great set of Duplo gear stuff for his birthday. It came with large laminated cards that show you some ideas for things you can make. The first one that caught his eye was for a blender / mixer thing. In the photograph it shows a child using it to mix something in a bowl, so of course that’s what we had to do.

Huge success! Mike made Jello and graciously let Robbie borrow his mixer to make chocolate pudding (with me surreptitiously mixing them both at the end) and it all turned out really well.

And as an added benefit, the next day the boys cut out the Jello into fun shapes.

Even Chip liked this part, although he kind of made Mike mad with his Jello-eating method. Since it was too slippery for him to pick up, he just leaned over his plate and licked it. Mike was really “ee-di-tated” that Chip was eating it like a dog!

I think it’s great! Looks like they had a great time!
Oh, my son would love that! We have a gazillion other gear toys. Cool!
your kids crack me up. “ee-di-tated” that is something mine would say too. But then I think my kids might take the jello and start using it in a throwing contest. They seem to think that funny textures are also fun to experiment with flying. Who knew.
I have never seen anything like that. I love it! We have got to find one.
I am so going to look for that lego gear thing on the net. so cool!
Oh the MESS my daughters would make with that!
I on the other hand, who never had legos, WANT IT!
