"I am for shizz up the spout"

I understand that as an adoptive mother I’m supposed to be easily offended by portrayals of adoption in the movies, but I just saw “Juno” and I loved it.

It was a hilarious, touching, and unique story. Sure, there were parts that were unbelievable or just plain poorly done, but when I leave the theater with quotes scribbled on my hand — and on a bag after running out of room on my hand! — you know it was something great.

Some choice favorites were “pork swords” and “they make his junk smell like pie.” Two thumbs up — go see it.

I’ve been debating whether or not to see this movie. I think “they make his junk smell like pie” just convinced me to.

The characters in the movie won me over . . . I’ll agree no one person says that many great one liners, but I so loved everyone of them anyway.

So many of the scenes from Juno are sketched in my mind. I especially like how as I got to know the characters more my opinion of them changed.

I would tell anyone who likes a good story to go see this one. Ellen Page is surely to be someone we’ll know by name very soon.

I really, really liked this movie. Ellen Page reminded me of a young Jeanine Jeanine Garofalo from the “Reality Bites” days.

I thought her parents were good too. Usually they portray parents as complete idiots in these types of movies.

Haven’t seen Juno but did you happen to see Ellen page in “Hard Candy”? She was awesome. Definitely talented.

I heard the young actress did a superb job in this movie. I am going to see it but I will wait until it comes out on DVD.

Thanks for the referral – Bossy is always looking for ways to spend $20 in two hours. And hey, Happy New Year, friend.

Man, the buzz on this movie is astonishing! I guess with all this peer pressure to find out about the smell of junk, I best get out there to see it.

I love this movie, too. It’s got great lines, but is probably one of the most humane movies I’ve seen in years. I cried and didn’t resent it at all because the movie earned my tears honestly.

LOVED this movie!

she was so quirky. i’m glad they portrayed her as likely a “normal” teen in that situation… not so mature and businesslike and formal.

she cracked us up.

“what if the baby doesn’t have junk b/c of all the booze i drank”

good ending, as well.

There are SOOOOOOOO many awesome parts to the movie, definetly a gooder. My Fav Quotes by Far:

“That ain’t no etch-a-sketch. This is one doodle that can’t be un-did, homeskillet” (cashier says to Juno as she shakes pregnany test)

“I doubt she gave you the stinkeye that’s just how her face looks, you know? That’s just her face.”

“Yes, hello? I need to procure a hasty abortion?… What was that? I’m sorry, I’m on my hamburger phone and it’s kind of awkward to talk on. It’s really more of a novelty than a functional appliance”

I love the whole sexually active, what does that even mean? “Sexually active” seems to be the politically correct phrase for “in a non-committed relationship and still having sex” group. Otherwise “sexually active” women wouldn’t always be recommended to get tested for every STD on the planet. When do I expire?
